Annie To is a tourist

What's in the box?
Adriano Zumbo PLEASE!
Quick pitstop (hoho) at Balmain at the renowned patisserie!
Sloppy pictures sorry :/

The beloved macarons, which were even heart shaped! :O
Unfortunately I crushed the yellow one due to heavy hands... forgetting how delicate they were after I woke up in the car :/
Yellow - Can't remember what flavour.. citrus and pandan and something?
Tan - Coffee brulee

Your Frund un the Frudge... yes that's actually what its called...
Unfortunately I fell asleep in the car and it... 'slipped'
and a Passionfruit... mindblank :/

My day actually started here in Olympic Park.
Emily actually has swimming lessons every Tuesday for 20mins... but having a weak-ass immune system and getting sick, I didn't want to go swimming.
So I opted to go exploring and walking around Olympic Park (since I am such a nub at this area).
At first I walked up and down that strip... cannot remember the name of the street...
Then I arrived at the train station, ANZ stadium...
AND ACER ARENA! And I saw a Kelly Clarkson poster (YES PLZ)
And I kept walking down to Haslam's pier...
Saw lots of tourists with their big-ass dslr's and wearing matching shirts (some were!) taking photos so I thought, Heck! Why not!
It's soo... calming there.
I think I want to go there more often and just walk around there.
Or sit.
Or pit stop at maccas... hohoho

Later we were off to Surry Hills for a Ladakh sale... unfortunately, like always, we were not successful and left empty handed.
So Balmain cheered us up!
We also went to "bambini" which is a children's clothing store...
and OHMYGOODNESS this store sells the most adorable clothing ever!
The prices were quite :O
They sold DKNY, Diesel... even Burberry!
But we got Emily this adorable little swimming cossie.
My sister kept picking up the most skankiest cossies for her.
Long post, so time to cut it short!
A belated Happy CNY to all! :D

Save you - Kelly Clarkson

A funny thing happened today when I was catching the bus to work.
The bus is usually really packed, with screaming school kids, professional corporate-wearing workers (oh yes I'm included in this category ho ho ho!) and some cute oldies.
But by chance, today was different than usual!
I fell asleep on the bus since it's a 30min bus ride, and I had a dream I was on a bus with Silvia, and we were laughing and talking like idiots.
However the dream felt exceptionally real, and when I woke up, I turned to my left to talk to the person next to me, believing it was Silvia...
BUT IT WASN'T! D:
Luckily I stopped myself in time... of being so shamefully embarrassed.
It ended up being a leb schoolboy...
AND I'M SO SCARED I WAS TALKING AND GIGGLING IN MY SLEEP!!!
SHAMEEEEEEEE.

Anyways!
When I hear the word 'Baroque', I automatically think of Baroque music... eg music composed by Bach...
BUT OH NO! It's actually a french bistro/patisserie (HOW TRICKY!)
I felt so out of place... It felt too high roller for me! :O
It had Loccitane soap in the toilet! :O
Oh the luxury of it all...
But it was an EXCELLENT excellent excellent food day...
Photos from yesterday! :D

However! Our food came really really late...
AND THE BEST 5 WORDS ANYONE WANTS TO HEAR:
"Dessert is on the house"
Oh.
My.
God.
Yes.
PLEASE!

How awesome is that right!?
Mmmm I've got to say the dessert was better than the mains (maybe I'm just being prejudiced ho ho ho!)

Later me and Vicky decided on buying more macarons... and we took a while to decide which packet to buy! :O
And the chick ended up getting a paper bag, and putting..
3 MORE FREE MACARONS! FOR US! FOR US US US US US!
How fabulicious.

(If you can see the pink thing at the back... IT'S A HEART MACARON! :O)

Yummo.
What a fabulicious food day.
We ended up getting $45 worth of free food...
Now I could get used to this ho ho ho!
So now when you hear the word "Baroque", what do you think of?
